The theater production MJ is based on a book written by Lynn Nottage, who has won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama twice, as well as a combination of Michael Jackson's legendary music. This musical based on the "King of Pop" has been performed on Broadway to critical acclaim. The musical's score will incorporate 25 of Michael Jackson's most famous songs, such as "Beat It," "Billie Jean," and "Thriller." The global tour that Michael Jackson undertook in 1992 under the moniker "Dangerous" is used as the musical’s main story to give audiences an in-depth look at Jackson's creative efforts and all the major events that occurred during his career, commencing with his time in The Jackson 5 and moving through his solo success.
