Story
The story begins in Cob County, where two lovers named Maizy and Beau are planning their wedding. However, the wedding comes to a grinding halt when the towns corn suddenly starts to die. The still unmarried couple agree to postpone things and join the town in worrying about its crops.
Maizy decides to find answers in Florida. After she arrives in Tampa, she meets Gordy, who is pretending to be a corn doctor. Gordy vows to help her save her towns farm, even though he's only interested in her expensive bracelet to satisfy his mob debts - and drama ensues.
